What is a Dogfight?

A Dogfight is a side by side debate on Barkles. You can see Dogfights on the home page organised into Topic boxes. You can also Add Topics to find Dogfights that match your interests.

How do I join a Dogfight?

To join a Dogfight, choose the side with the answer that you agree with and post your response.

How do I start a Dogfight?

To start a Dogfight, head to the Home page. In the text box, ask a question, choose the answers for the two sides and post.

What Are Topic Boxes?

On your Home page everything is organised into Topic boxes. Topic boxes give you an overview of different elements of Barkles ranging from Active and Recent Dogfights, people you're Chasing, Dogfights you're Tracking and Topics you've added. Adding a Topic is a great way to find Dogfights based around your interests.

What is Active and Recent?

Active and Recent Topic Boxes will show you the most Active and Recent Dogfights across Barkles for that day.

What is Chasing?

When you Chase someone their new Dogfights will appear in your Chasing Topic box. Find people to Chase by checking out Dogfights. See if your friends are on Barkles by searching for username, real name or email address. We recommend Chasing people that interest and intrigue you.

What is Tracking?

Tracking makes it easy to bookmark any Dogfight for quick access at a later time. To Track any Dogfight, click the Track button and it will be added to your Tracking Topic box.

What is a Dogtag?

Dogtags are Barkles profiles which tell you more about a person behind the questions. Your bio, image and Dogfights are all organised into your Dogtag.

How do I edit my Dogtag?

Head to your Settings page by using the sidebar icon, then click on the Edit Dogtag tab. In this area you can change your Dogtag image, display name, website and bio. When you're finished, click Update Dogtag.

How do I edit my Settings?

Head to your Settings page by using the sidebar icon. In this area you can change your Email address and password, connect your Facebook and Twitter accounts (for quick login), change your notification and guide preferences and choose a background. When you're finished, click Update Settings.

Can I edit my Dogfight and Responses?

Yes. To edit a Dogfight/Response, hover over the Dogfight/Response text and click the Edit button. Once someone leaves a Response to your Dogfight or Replies to your Response you will no longer be able to edit that item.

How do I connect Facebook/Twitter?

Head to your Settings page by using the sidebar icon. Click on Connect to Facebook/Connect to Twitter and follow the prompts. Once they are connected you will be able to login to Barkles with one click.
